MOCHA
Mocha is a 2yr old spayed female Shepherd Mix who loves to romp and play. She needs an active
family because when she loves to run and a tired dog is a happy dog. When she gets excited or anxious
she will chase her tail but quickly stops when instructed. She does lots of growly sounds when she
interacts but that is just her way of talking. She is well behaved and already knows basic commands.
She enjoys running with other dogs but not sure if she likes cats. I would recommend that she goes to
a family with children above 13yrs.She will take possession of a sock, cloth etc and hide it and guard
it now that she trusts us she easily lets go of the “prized possession” but likes to growl and make
loud noises before giving it up. She has already shown improvement in this area since she has been here.
She needs someone to understand her quirky ways and realize that she has a unique way of communicating
but it is not meant to be mean or aggressive. If you think you can provide a loving home for Mocha
please call East Coast German Shepherd Rescue c/o Leah Parsons @ 435 9699 or E-Mail leah@nsgsrescue.com.

MADGE
Madge's Holiday Wish is to find her forever home where she can relax and be loved.
Her Majesty or "Madge" as she's known around her foster home has grown into a sweet and loving companion. This shy little lady takes some time to become comfortable with new people BUT is a total cuddle bug and an excellent lap dog once she gets to know you.
Madge LOVES going out for walks and is happiest when she can be provided one good walk or two shorter ones every single day. Madge can sit, lay down, shake-a-paw and dance for her dinners. Madge is good in the car and is completely crate trained.
Madge does have a sensitive stomach and currently eats Medi-Cal Gastro food as her main diet. Madge is quite nervous around children and will nip if she feels threatened, therefore NO homes with children or that have small children visiting frequently will be considered.
Madge is currently living with other dogs and cats and while she does tolerate them, ideally Madge would be happiest as the only pet or with one or two other calm and mature pets.
Potential homes will have to complete an adoption application that will require references and a home visit prior to being approved for adoption. Madge's adoption fee of $150.00 will include her crate, harness, favorite chew toys and a one month supply of Medi-Cal Gastro food. Madge is 8 years old.
If you are interested in learning more about Madge please contact Amy Slaunwhite at amy@furmyfriends.ca or Adina MacRae at dogsonthego@eastlink.ca.
