Featured Adoptable Pets

Periodically, unique animals find their way into our community of shelters. They may have special needs, be depressed living the shelter life (and who wouldn't be?), or simply have great personalities that need an opportunity to shine. Here we have highlighed a few of those residents.

If you are interested in any of our featured adoptables, please contact the group or person noted in his/her biography brief.

DOGS

MONTY

I'm a handsome and wonderful 7 month old Lab-Shepherd mix that loves everyone I meet. My name is Montgomery but people call me Monty. I'm about 35-40 pounds and will be a medium size dog when I'm fully grown. I'm a very, very happy, loving and playful pup. Everyone that meets me thinks I'm one of the sweetest dogs they ever met. I’ve been in a foster home with 4 other dogs and a nice fenced in yard so that’s what the rescue wants me to have in my forever home. I’m extremely well socialized with dogs, cats and kids and I don’t have a mean or aggressive bone in my body. I walk well on leash but still need some work with that, I love to snuggle, I know how to sit, give paw and play fetch. I sleep in a crate at night in my foster family's bedroom and also during the times when they are not home, but I get scared because I don’t like to be crated during the day. I’m vaccinated and neutered, have flea/tick control and have been fully dewormed. If you would like to meet me, fill out the adoption application that is located on the rescues web site at http://www.littersncritters.com and email it to adoptions@littersncritters.com.

CATS

Jackson

Meet Jackson! He is one of our current rescues waiting for his forever home! I have had this sweet boy since May of 2008 so he is approx 1 yr old now. He has a lovely personality and loves to play. He is used to being around other cats so it would be nice for him to go to a home with another cat or to go with one of his friends from our rescue. Please contact TAPA for an adoption application for Jackson. He will be great company for someone! Jackson is up to date on vaccines, has been tested for feline leukemia and neutered. He has been dewormed and does not have any fleas. tapa@accesswave.ca www.tapacatrescue.petfinder.com.
