Featured Adoptable Pets
Periodically, unique animals find their way into our community of shelters.
They may have special needs, be depressed living the shelter life (and
who wouldn't be?), or simply have great personalities that need an opportunity
to shine. Here we have highlighed a few of those residents.
If you are interested in any of our featured adoptables, please contact
the group or person noted in his/her biography brief.
DOGS
Oliver
This handsome young boys name is Oliver. He is a German Shepherd mix ,who weighs about 50 lbs and about 9 months old. He thinks he is a lap dog . He likes to jump into our lap or curl up in a chair for a nap. He is as smart as he is curious and is very eager to learn and to please his people. He is very attentive and knows his basic commands such as sit, stay and lie down. He is packed full of energy, he goes for lots of walks . He loves to run in the park or go for a hike. He likes to play with other dogs . He met a cat and the cat hissed at Oliver and he got scarred. He is house trained , is great in the car, love to go for drives and would enjoy obedience classes and agility. He love to anything that has him with people. If you have time to play ,love to share and space in your bed . Please fill out the adoption application found at www.animalrescuecoalitions.com .Email to arc@seabright.ca The ladies will process the application in a timely manner. Let your vet clinic know the ladies will be calling to make sure your past and present pets are up to date with vaccinations . Also that they have been spayed or neutered. I will be hanging out with my wonderful foster parents waiting for your call.

WALTER
This handsome fellow is Walter, our 5 year old romeo. Walter is a sweet dog who loves his people. He has had a past, however, with
issues and had become quite frightened of strangers and reacted inappropriately without any resolution. Walter is doing so much
better in his foster home and is looking for his forever home to settle in to.
Walter is a perfect houseguest, housetrained, not destructive, quiet, and quite affectionate.
Walter is great with other dogs and cats, but he will be placed into a home with no children due to his mistrust issues.
Any prospective owners must be prepared to have initial visits with Walter and his foster mom to prepare them and him for a transition to make it as easy as possible.
Walter is located in Nova Scotia.
If you are interested in this wonderful companion please visit www.bostonterrierrescuecanada.com for information on our adoption policies and an application form.

CATS
Cookie
Lucy
Simon
Simon, Lucy and Cookie are all indoor cats looking for a new home.
Simon - DSH, smokey gray in color. Pleasantly plump :) 3 years old. Neutered. Very timid, so would be best to be adopted into a
relatively quiet home. Just wants love and cuddles.
Lucy - DSH. Mostly black, with white on chest and white on tips of toes. Simon's sister. Also pleasantly plump :) 3 years old. Spayed. Also
very timid, so would be best adopted into a quiet home as well. Would be ideal to keep Simon and Lucy together. She LOVES treats and
cries constantly for treats. Maybe why she is so fat!!
Cookie - DSH. Black with small patch of white on chest. Approx 8 years old. Neutered. Craves attention, but timid at first. Very friendly
once he gets to know you. A really nice cat. He was rescued as a kitten from an abusive home.
Please contact Jennifer for more information at (902) 472-2207 or email jencapeling@eastlink.ca.
