Mr Bones:Male (nt'd) G.Shep/Husky (7-8yrs), G.Shep colours & build, Husky happy-dog folded-back ears & semi-dense coat. Here's his sad now happy tale:Mr. Bones was flown from the Clarenville SPCA in Newfoundland & we are privileged to care for this sweet fellow until we can find a permanent home for him. He was seized from his former home due to neglect & he only weighed 38lbs when he first arrived (thus the name). Now he has a new lease on life & he is very appreciative of all the special care he is receiving. He is sweet & loves everyone. He tends to jump up because of the excitement of people paying attention to him but this can easily be corrected. He does not mind cats & loves children, however, due to his jumpiness it may be best if Mr. Bones goes to a home with older children. This guy is a gem.

A person with knowledge of the breeds & canine behaviour is needed. No small children or cats in the home, please. He needs classes, activity & a knowledgeable “owner”.

Balto: Male (nt’d) Siberian Husky/Lab (4yrs), although he is blind this CHARMING fellow doesn’t let that slow him down one bit! He is always ready to meet, greet & PLAY! It is amazing that he is so friendly as he was terribly neglected & his coat was dry, unhealthy & he was in a state of emaciation. Love does heal…
Sunny: Male (nt’d) blind senior Collie. This wonderful gentle dog was so sick & emaciated when rescued that he could barely stand, let alone walk. He was confused & disorientated. But that is all behind him now & he’s ready for his loving new forever home. He is alert, mobile, happy. A good weight & a healthy coat!

Pookie: Female (sp’d) long-haired tortoiseshell (3yrs), an absolute beauty & just as gentle as she is pretty! An indoor & kissy-cat like her brother Panda.
Zoey: Female KITTEN (4mos), short all white coat, healthy & vetted, was ABANDONED during the last VERY BIG STORM (some humans are so cruel & cowardly…). Zoey is very comfortable around dogs & other cats.
Luca: Male (nt’d) G.ShepherdX (5yrs), a big & handsome lad (90lbs), he LOVES his walks, is very well socialized, highly intelligent, clean & respectful in the house. Very much a gentle Teddy Bear who is used to kind words & loving hands. Although Luca lived well with 3 cats in his original home he is not responding well to new cats & prefers to chase them so best that he goes to a cat-free family.
